About Swiss Coding Academy
Swiss Coding Academy is the Vietnamese initiative of programming.school, an international social entrepreneurship project in IT education founded by Sergey Shedov, an Oxford graduate with more than 25 years of experience in IT education. Our mission is to help develop Vietnam’s human capital: we support adults in building careers in data, analytics, and software development through structured, project-based programs aligned with the needs of the local tech economy.

Swiss Coding Academy is the Vietnamese initiative of programming.school founded by Sergey Shedov. It has an IT education center in Ho Chi Minh City that prepares adults for careers in data, analytics and software development.
We focus on three things:

- Project-based learning with real datasets and business cases, so you build a portfolio instead of only watching lectures.
- Career outcomes: hybrid format, mentoring and job support designed to help you actually enter the IT job market, not just finish another course.
programming.school was founded by Sergey Shedov, an educator with over 25 years of experience in teaching programming and developing long-term IT education programs. Under his academic leadership, Swiss Coding Academy brings this systematic, project-based approach to Vietnam, adapting it to the needs of local students and employers.
No. Our programs (for example, Data Analyst from Zero) are designed for beginners who may never have written a line of code before. We start from the fundamentals and gradually move to more advanced tools, so the main requirement is your motivation and readiness to study consistently.
Classes are taught in Vietnamese, while most technical terminology and many materials (slides, documentation, examples) are in English. This combination helps you understand complex topics comfortably and, at the same time, prepares you for working in international IT environments where English is the standard.
Our programs combine:
- Live online lectures for theory and demonstrations, with recordings available for review;
- Offline practical sessions and workshops at our learning center in District 1, where you work on projects, get feedback, and ask questions in person;
- Structured self-study assignments between sessions to consolidate your skills.
Yes. We offer a 14-day trial period: you can join the course, attend classes and start working with materials. If during the first two weeks you realize that the program is not the right fit, you can withdraw and receive a 100% refund — no questions asked
For selected programs, we provide a job guarantee: if a graduate actively completes the course, finishes all required projects and still does not find a job in IT within six months after graduation, we refund 100% of the tuition fee. The detailed conditions for each program are described in the enrollment agreement so that everything is transparent before you start.
Yes, you will receive a graduation certificate accredited by one of the top private universities in Europe.
